GameIt.me ("we," "us") provides a personal learning service that turns documents you upload into interactive trainings and flashcards. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We've written it in plain English on purpose.
What we collect
Account information. Your email address, used to sign you in with a magic link. We don't use passwords.
Documents you upload. When you create a training, we extract the text of your document to generate your learning content. The extracted text and the learning content generated from it (takeaways, questions, flashcards) are stored with your account. Uploaded PDF and image files are stored temporarily to allow text extraction.
Study activity. Which cards you've studied and how you rated them, so spaced repetition can schedule your reviews.
Usage records. A count of the trainings you've generated, used to administer the free plan and, in the future, paid plans.
Technical basics. Standard analytics such as pages visited, and the cookies/local storage needed to keep you signed in.
How we use it
We use your information to run the service: generating your trainings, saving your library, scheduling your study sessions, enforcing plan limits, and improving the product. To generate learning content, the extracted text of your document is processed by the AI service providers that power our platform. We do not sell your personal information or your documents.
What we share
We share information only with the service providers that host and power GameIt.me (cloud hosting, database, authentication, and AI processing), and when required by law. Your trainings are private to your account — other users cannot see them.
Your documents may be sensitive
People use GameIt.me to understand wills, leases, contracts, and other personal documents. Upload only what you're comfortable processing through a cloud service. GameIt.me teaches you what your document says; it does not provide legal, financial, or medical advice.
Your choices
Delete a training anytime from your library — this permanently removes its content and study history.
Delete your account and data by emailing support@gameit.me from your account email; we'll confirm and remove your account, documents, and learning content. Usage counts may be retained as billing/abuse records.
Children
GameIt.me is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We'll post any changes to this policy here with an updated effective date.
